I'm happy with the bike itself, but the sales person, Alan, seemed to have very little familiarity with BMW and the features and setup of the R12 nineT in particular, though he noted he had only been with BMW for a few weeks. I also specifically asked for the bike to be returned to factory defaults, but it was clear as I took the bike home that this had not been done, and also that the tyres were considerably under pressured, which didn't give me confidence in the quality of the pre-sale inspection and service.

I had a great experience at Vertu BMW Motorrad Exeter because transaction was carried out remotely with no issue, and transport arranged to Stirlingshire. Trade in was reasonable on my previous bike. Everyone has to be agreeable on the whole package.
